Due to the huge costs of running the forums I have had to resort to advertising banners, this sucks I know, but I have to find some way of funding the Community Forums.

More about this:

The database size is now growing into a critical issue.  It's grown a lot over the years and is now eating through my space and already uses the largest percentage of my total available web space.

I am left with little choice but to take on Ads/Banners or I can delete the database and start a fresh forum again.  Or members can help keep the site as is by purchasing Ad/Banner free accounts.

Advert/Banner free viewing is available for a small yearly fee, please contact me about this if you are interested.

Cost = £20 per year.
(All monies go into keeping the Forum running & paying the fees generated by the forum.)

Any member purchasing Ad/Banner free viewing will be given a link to a Password Protected version of the forum.

Anyone caught sharing a Password protected Ad/Banner free account will loose their privileges for that account and forfeit their payment.

As a Valued Community Contributor you will be given a rank image to show you support the community.

Q: do you only receive <poundsign> when the banners are clicked, or regardless?

so if one of us wants to buy something from amazon we should definitely link through here? also, is it only for the UK amazon? or can we link through here, and then go to our country's site via the co.uk site and you'd still get credit for that?

I think if you start the process here and carry on it should be fine.  You should still be referred via this site.
