i'm saying "yes, but..."

depends on the forum style, the red goes good with the gray
if it's green or summin, then it would look icky

EDIT: an possibly, once a thread has a new post it goes back to the former color? just as another indicator

I'm looking for a lil contrast so regs can speed read where they been & what's new.
& still looking for somewhere I wanna put a splash or red, so ummmm....

& Red IMO is always a link related colour.  For my overall theme for this site that is.
