After much interweb screwdriver weilding & interwebsite Jedi'ami, Version 2 has been given the boot.

What that means too you, not much if you only visit the Forum.

If you actually browse the website, most things as you knew them are no more.

I got rather emotional & had a moment of sheer inspiration where bells rang, birds sang & the sky looked ever so blue & much easier & better than they are or sorry, were...  A place where the website was in bad order, constructed on infirm & unstable principles.  A place in dire, yes I say dire need of a new order...  So from the calm I gathered the storm, & cleansed the land, I scoured & smited all that was, then not content, I carried on & took away some more...

Things are evolving,
Has a fresh seed has been sewn,
The same old shit,
Just a different day,
To the manor born...

(The short & sweet of this is the fact I have hammered 2 websites into 1.)

Shit loads of 404 pages, loads of broken or b0rk urls for the website pages (Not the same as the forum pages/threads/topics).

Forum wise, the database hasn't moved or been touched, the only removal/change was a small cutback in the number of templates we currently have on offer.

The forum style is set at Default by myself at the moment till I can get a new figure on the size of the site after the cutback.

EDIT;
Code:

Tech Spec
V2.co.uk
Server capacity 125mb (+3mb breach

After Cull - 56mb (After server reset.)

New Version install mb? + Forum Database is approx 40MB = Total mb?
Awaiting install of V3 Install Style and Graphics Suite.

Random probabilty of locating the lost section that was once loving created, briefly hosted, worked and was named the 'Smiley Section' = Big fat Zero =/

It's always the parts you create & love that you break or lose in the fits and starts of creativity I guess... :hmm  Think

I liked version 2, and you'd put a LOT of work into it, so it's sad to see it go. And I do check out the site periodically, though usually since I knew it so well I'd only really go into it in depth when you'd say you'd made changes.

Version 3 should be good, though. Happy

I learned many things while out in the shed earlier tonight,
I was flicking one over on the workbench,
Too the left of my rolling tray was a PC tower,
Simple home PC case size,
Standard shade of creamy white...

From underneath scuttles a spider,
Not huge, no more than a few inches in size,
Sticks its front few legs & its head from underneath the base of the tower,
Angles its bodily defensively,
Too which I blew some smoke at it...

Away into the darkness and safety it shot,
A breath of smoke and air enough too scare,
So from under the tower it remained...

Not moments later had the spider given up its ground,
Along came another,
Much smaller in size,
Yet not in stature...

Abseiled down the full height of the tower,
Crossed in front of the gap,
Where the much larger spider now stood,
Even though it was given the same breath of smoke,
While it climbed down & again,
While it walked in front of where the other one hid.

It just gave a look,
Just one brief moment,
Saying it knew I was there,
Saying I should know it didn't care...

The size of the creature is no insight into the size of the courage within.
