I learned many things while out in the shed earlier tonight,
I was flicking one over on the workbench,
Too the left of my rolling tray was a PC tower,
Simple home PC case size,
Standard shade of creamy white...
From underneath scuttles a spider,
Not huge, no more than a few inches in size,
Sticks its front few legs & its head from underneath the base of the tower,
Angles its bodily defensively,
Too which I blew some smoke at it...
Away into the darkness and safety it shot,
A breath of smoke and air enough too scare,
So from under the tower it remained...
Not moments later had the spider given up its ground,
Along came another,
Much smaller in size,
Yet not in stature...
Abseiled down the full height of the tower,
Crossed in front of the gap,
Where the much larger spider now stood,
Even though it was given the same breath of smoke,
While it climbed down & again,
While it walked in front of where the other one hid.
It just gave a look,
Just one brief moment,
Saying it knew I was there,
Saying I should know it didn't care...
The size of the creature is no insight into the size of the courage within.
