The Rules.

Welcome & I hope you enjoy the time you spend here. Thumb up

That being said...

1. This is not a democracy.

2. I pay for the web space/hosting so it's my ballgame.

3. I put the time & effort into running the place.

So it is a case of "One singer & only one song", I am the singer & the lyrics are mine, don't like it or how I run the place the log out button is on the Nav bar to the left, use it.

Bitching, cribbing or old fashion flames are to be kept to The Warzone.
Anywhere else & I will move/moderate/delete the post/thread in question.

If you do not like or do not get on with another member, please try to get on for the sake of the other members & give me a quiet life. If you cannot get on & have to rip each others throats out obey the rules & take it to The Warzone where you can abuse & flame each other till you are content. If after that you still cause issues in other forums I will have the final say on who is in the right or who is in the wrong & take whatever action I deem fit for the situation.

Banning members.

Not something I really want to do or be forced to do.

I am pretty easy going & this place is pretty relaxed in what is allowed content wise for posting,
& I don't like the whole banning thing, so the only 2* reasons I will ban is for 1'trolling or posting 2child porn or something of that ilk.

If you must post Goatse or something like that, make sure there is a decent reason for it or it is in keeping with the thread you are going to post it in. I have seen it & it doesn't bother me, but some are of a delicate nature so play the game.

*~ NOTE:-  Anything I consider over the line or liable to end up getting me in prison, court or in trouble via International laws which would affect me/my Site, I will edit it myself & leave a message as to why I did edit it.

Any views or statements by Users/Members expressed in any Chat Room or Forum run from this Website are not also the view of this Site or The Webmaster, The Webmaster or Web Site can not be held responsible for the comments, actions or Views of the said Members & Users.
This also includes exterior linked sites as in anything other than this named domain - ganjataz.co.uk/ganjataz.com

If you are worried about posting something in a thread in case you think it is too much or is going to cause an issue, send me a message via the PM function on the NAVIGATOR BAR to the left of the screen & I will let ya know if it's cool to post it or not.

Trolling or Trolls.
Trolls/Alt nicks/Multiple accounts ARE NOT ALLOWED.
Get caught with one & you will be banned.
& you will get caught as I have the ability to check everybody's IP's & I do so on occasions.
For a definition of Internet Forum Trolling/Troll.
Internet troll
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopaedia.

Quote
On the Internet, a troll is a person who posts messages that create controversy or an angry response without adding content to the discussion, often intentionally, merely as a ludibrium. Though technically different from flaming, which is an unmistakable direct personal attack, trolls often resort to innuendo or misdirection in the pursuit of their objective, which is to create controversy for its own sake, discredit those with whom they disagree, or sabotage discussion by creating an intimidating atmosphere.

Only one person will have more than one account or User Name, & that will be "me" for Admin/Webmaster purposes.
Anyone else caught running an Alternate Nick Name, User Account, Forum I.D, Screen Name or presenting any other falsehoods on Registration Documents for Official ganjataz.co.uk/ganjataz.com business, Membership or any of the privileges that are given to you as a Regular of this site & Community here in, run the risk of getting banned or sued as you are bound by International laws & the Site/Forum rules as you are committing Online Fraud = Banned + Legal Issues.

Spam ~ This Forums verdict Sir Spamalot
Sir Spamalot say's;

"I can live with it so long as it is not fucking up a decent conversation or intended to interrupt the flow of the thread."
IF YOU MUST post like a mad man for post count+++
At least have the decency to do it in the testing forum rather than in a topic orientated forum.

Even you dedicated spamwhores will be hard pressed to make more than 4 posts per minute no matter how hard you try as there is a 15 second posting restriction option already set up* should anyone flood the Forums/Areas/Boards/Site.

*This restriction when enabled in an emergency will not interfere with even the fastest flowing of conversations as it takes about that amount of time for a post to be entered & the pages to load up again & you would also have to read & type out another reply.

Single letter posts are also restricted, but you may post a single smiley.
(Can't take away the fun of smiley spam now can I? It's kept my post count high all this time, so why stop now!)

Posting from work.

You take the risk not me. You are welcome to post here while at work however....

In my books you are getting paid to do a job, not surf forums. So you take it as you find it or surf when it is safe.

I catch anyone moaning about avatars, signatures, tits, arses, cunts, cocks or anything like that & I would publicly laugh my arse of at you & have ZERO sympathy about the issue.

You are running the risk of losing a job or getting in trouble, you take that risk, you take the punishment if it causes grief for you. Don't come crying to me about it after. But do make a thread about it so we can all have a laugh at you if you do get busted at work looking at stuff you shouldn't be. <^. .^>

Most of the dodgy stuff will be in Slappers INC (The adult forum) so use some common sense.

Signatures.

Could you please all restrict Sigs to Non Animated images of no more than this size... .

Feel free to use that image as a canvas which you can blank out & use to create your own Sigs, tags or logo's to be used as a sig.

You may of course use simple text & HTML to create a Sig, but no more than 3 lines of regular sized text please, or no bigger than 600 X 75 as shown in the image.

Avatars.
You can use one of the pre-uploaded avatars available through your Profile settings.
Or
Buy the Option* to choose your own & have it Uploaded to the Forum Server.**
* Buying a an Option costs you Either Spam Points, Slut Points or a Combination of Both.)
** Contact Taz/Forum Admin for a price for what it is you want Option you want to buy.

Avatars should be no larger than 100x100
Minor exceptions in size may be permitted depending on my mood when I upload them.

Private Messages. (PM's)

You are more than welcome to use the private message feature to chat off the boards in private.
You are however restricted to storing only 10 messages.

About the Areas within the Forums.

There are at the moment 3 MAIN AREAS.

1:~ Main.
This Area contains the Forums:

About ganjataz.co.uk.
n00bs - Test / Smiley Zone.
General Bollocks.

2:~ The Industry.
This Area contains the Forums:

999/911 Breaking News.
G33ks - Computer/Gaming.
Movies & Music & T.V..

3:~ The Darker Side.
This Area contains the Forums:

Numero Uno -Special Interests.
Slappers INC.
The Warzone.

Each Area has a sub heading telling you what that forum is about or for.
Please use some COMMON SENSE when making a new thread, try & fit the thread in to the most appropriate Forum.
If you fuck up & post a News thread in the Film forum by mistake, make an EDIT on the thread asking it to be moved & where you think it is best moved too.
If you are unsure as to where something should be posted, again use COMMON sense & post it where you think it is most suited & just make a comment about the fact you are unsure if it belongs in that Forum.

User Groups/Clans/Mini Communities.

What are Usergroups?
Usergroups are a way in which The Webmaster can group users.
Each user can belong to several groups (this differs from most other boards.)
& each group can be assigned individual access rights.
This makes it easy for The Webmaster to set up several users as moderators of a forum, or to give them access to a private forum, etc.

Same goes for Clans which are groups of Hard Core Game Fans who play together as teams.

Mini Communities are a more in depth form of Usergroup & Clan.  A much more involved Online Game/Role Play/D&D type of Group.

How do I join a Usergroup?
To join a Usergroup click the Usergroup link on the page header (dependent on template design.)
& you can then view all Usergroups.
Not all groups are open access -- some are closed and some may even have hidden memberships.
If the board is open then you can request to join it by clicking the appropriate button.
The user group moderator will need to approve your request;
"They may ask why you want to join the group?"The Judge Smiley.
Please do not pester a group moderator if they turn your request down Exclamation Mark. !
-- they will have their own reasons.

How do I become a Usergroup Moderator?

You don't.

Cheers,

Taz.

P.S
I hold no responsibility for any content or views hosted on anyone else's website or server.

Nor am I officially affiliated with them, what they do or what they say.
