We went through a gig in bandwidth yesterday & if that carries on there will be no more bandwidth to spare to last us till the allowance resets at the start of the month.
So, to save bandwidth Sigs & Avatars are now switched off, as is the points system.
It's an economy drive & a temporary measure till the start of the month, however at this rate it may become a regular thing.
Anyone wanting to moan about it think of it like this before you do, you can have the boards to post on or you can't because there is no bandwidth left to run them with. Or you can pay for the extra bandwidth costs at the end of the month, each month. Take my word for it, don't cos it won't be cheap.

A lot of it has to do with the new toys I added requiring more stuff to be downloaded from the server each page view. More people surfing at the bigger pages = trouble. |
