I do like to use them to get an IMG or something italicized.

But its quite obnoxious that if I want to insert something into body of pre-existing text, the button drops the cursor to the bottom of said text instead of inserting at the point where the cursor is.  Is this intentional?

That is the set up of the php side, nothing to do with any options I have control of.  (Too my knowledge anyway.)

& I concur, it is a tad annoying.

However, highlight the text you wanna do something with, then hit the button that performs the action you desire & it auto does it.

The forum has nice little shortcuts so I would say that compensates for the few small shortcomings/niggles.

& it pisses over most forums I have seen for versatility & ease of use once you have got the layout/system down.  :)

I didn't know about the highlight then function feature at first, I just took it as normal that you could just set the tags up like you were doing then kept facing the same issue of getting shunted to the bottom of the screen, then I discovered that & thought "ROCK THE FUCK ON!"  Ebil

I thought it was just me being dense, maybe I should make an anouncement about it to make sure everyone knows you can speed post with them. Think

Perhaps.  But then, if most everyone else here is like me, they'll at least look at each thread anyway.  (;

Also, I could just rename this thread and you could sticky it.

All regulars should read any announcement or at least check a new thread started by me in this forum.

Otherwise they will miss out on stuff that could concern the site, the forum or any issues relating the community.

I will sticky this, good going. :)
